Finally found the one I wanted
When I was younger my wife and I needed a larger vehicle to carry the kids and found a 1977 Jeep Cherokee. From that time on I've always been a little partial to Jeeps. After "Big Orange" came and went, I had always wanted to get a Jeep pickup and had two others before I finally found "Greenie".
I had noticed Greenie around the town I live in and had chased the guy down and found out where he lived. I would stop from time to time and try to get him to sell it to me but he always said no. Finally he got hard up for money and called me. Now that I got it there is a lot I want to do to it, partially why I found this list to communicate with other owners to learn more about building it up how I want it. Quit rolling your eyes Lori, and the rest of you that don't understand. "Its a Jeep thing" ! |
Why is this truck here?
I joined a Full size Jeep list and I wanted a place to show the guys what my truck looks like so I began to try to figure out how all of these other guys created their sites. Finally one guy said he had created a site in about 5 minutes to showcase his truck, so I decided to go for it. Trust me I don't know how he could have done it in 5 minutes. It took me 5 hours to just figure out how to make the first picture the right size. |

Remember the main reason for building this page was to show the guys my Jeep, I'm not really fanatical about the truck to the point its all I think about. But if you wonder why there are so many pictures of it remember the primary reason.
I want to use this space also to give thanks.
I want to take this opportunity to thank the Lord Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour for blessing me and my family in many ways. God has given me a wife I love very much and three great kids. Without Him I would probably have nothing. There was a time when I was lost and deep into drugs and alcohol, when I gave my heart to him my life changed.(20 years ago). Thank you Jesus. |
The hammerhead of the month
This months H.H.O.T.M. goes to Barbi the FAg (Barcelona) Bobby is forty something going on 20. I guess maybe now he will realize he is actually an old Fart and maybe he ought to start riding like one. He broke his leg and had to have a steel pin put in his leg.
